Karen Rutherford, CCIB
Karen is President of International Accelerated Learning and a recognized expert in Adult Education. Her
firm designs and delivers training in the field of Human Development through fast-paced, interactive and
effective learning sessions. Recent clients include the Department of National Defence, the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons, the Province of Alberta and several insurance companies. Karen is an
approved supplier of Continuing Education Programs for the provinces of British Columbia, Saskatchewan,
Manitoba and Ontario. She is certified as an Accelerated Learning Facilitator (The University of
Houston). Karen was a successful insurance broker for 23 years and understands the daily business
pressures and the need for leadership in a brokerage. She is a recipient of the Jean Charles d'Auteuil
Award of Merit for her work on behalf of brokers in Canada.
